Really good music on Saturday evenings and a good range of drinks.
Lovely old pub with a friendly atmosphere. Pool table at the back and plenty of sheltered seating outside. Upstairs is the Cob and Pen cocktail bar which is definitely worth a visit.

My Sunday lunch pub. Just need to get the fire going this winter as it can get a cold. Friendly staff decent variety of beer...no food perfect for a proper pub.
The cocktail bar upstairs is worth a look - decent cocktails starting at £7.50. It's small though so the wait becomes lengthy once it fills up. The main pub itself is memorable for other reasons - it attracts a lively, electric crowd. Not my sort of place but it's been around forever so clearly doing something right.
Dont be fooled by the rundown feel of the place when you walk through the door, Its the best pub in the area for a Friday and Saturday night out boozing and dancing to live music ranging from Indie to more mainstream bands. It has a great atmosphere and a cool crowd. Haven't been to the cocktail bar upstairs yet but im sure its as good as they say it is. It gets really packed so I hope you like standing.
My favourite pub in the world. Will not be to everyone’s taste, but gets a 5 star from me. Cocktail bar upstairs is excellent, and the grunge pub downstairs equally good for opposite reasons.
Great bar for a chilled evening with your friends or pre drinks. It has pool, darts and sometimes, live music. Upstairs there is a nice cocktail bar. Friendly atmosphere.
Always had great times at The Swan.
