Had an amazing time, the afternoon tea was lovely. They used lovely china crockery and the service was first class. Was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.
Breakfast first visit here, wow! Beautiful place, great design. Very, very friendly and amazing service. Complimentary drinks with pastry and tone of toasts First of a kind! Btw all delicious! Highly recommended . I wish we can come one day for a roast as it looked amazing.
Great pub with a friendly host. Plenty of gluten free options on the menu to accompany the wide selection of beers and spirits. Only downside was being given the wrong bill and then being overcharged too, but this was corrected when queried.
Excellent Sunday dinner! We went with friends to the hare on Sunday, including two toddlers and they were SO accommodating, we asked for a few changes to the menu choices and all of our requests were accommodated for us without and fuss whatsoever. The staff were friendly and it was a very busy day, we were there enjoying ourselves for a good 3.5 hours! The board games, free cordial and changing station are just some of the wonderful touches that the pub offers. We love how dog friendly it is and the meal was so good and extremely good value for money. Can’t wait to return.
I feel harsh giving 3 stars as the manageress... who I suspect was the owner was doing a Stella job and the food tasted great. The two lost stars are because the other waitressing staff were young and being honest all over the place...sometimes even non existent. I saw them fail to make cups of coffee and bring drinks to tables one at a time from the bar. Favourite quote from them being "we couldnt find milk" If im being kind to them it could be a training issue arguably? The other lost star came down to Portion control. I have never seen so much food wasted and I've been to an all you can eat in vegas. We had a sharing starter so large we couldn't dent our main there was that much food provided It made me greatful i didnt order the soup as i can't swim and didnt bring a life jacket. This is 2023 and people are more conscious of food waste so probably not ok that the E Hare must go through 3 bin fulls a night! I would love to see this business succeed though by chucking so much food at your guests you not only waste loads but you prevent the extra orders. All other guests that looked more familiar with the business only ordered mains. This costs the business money surely? Just a final tip; you should offer the sharing platter for 2 & 4 people separately with varying costs. The current amount of food provided is enough for 4...its a starter after all.
Excellent service..We visited with our young rescue dog and the staff were great with her while serving great value food and drink. The pub itself is clean and has lovely decor without being over fancy. We thought the menu provided some interesting and different choices while also including the more traditional favourites. We will return and highly recommend.
Our first visit and a great experience. The food was very good, the portion sizes generous, and the service second to none. Could not fault anything about our visit and we'll definitely be back. Callie was superb and despite being very busy, she took the time to make sure we were all okay. She couldn't have done anything more. Her colleague was also on hand to help too. Might sound strange, but it was refreshing to see the little extras in the toilets, just in case of emergencies. A nice touch.
A lovely experience. Calm atmosphere, lovely China and very fresh food. The tea was delicious and they wrapped up our leftover cake to take home for later. Well worth the trip!
First time here, been recommended by family. Had a Sunday roast, I wouldn't normally have a pub roast but this was again recommended by family and all I can say is yummy great friendly service. Will definitely be going again.
Looking at the map we found a pub in the middle and what a great find! Great food, brilliant atmosphere and excellent service. It was just the 2 of us this evening, but we will definitely be back, and will bring the family and the dogs next time!
