Very cosy and friendly pub. Food was delicious but a little expensive for the portion size presented. Came here for my mum's birthday and they brought out a little surprise gift of chocolate fudge at the end which was a really nice gesture. I had fish and chips which was lovely but would have enjoyed it even more if the skin was completely removed and my partner had a burger which was really nice just a little bit lacking of sauce as it was slightly on the dry side. Puddings were amazing!
Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try. The staffs are amazing, very friendly and helpful, we came on a Sunday so ordered sunday roast, the beef is amazing, almost melts in your mouth amazing! My wife told me in the girl's toilet they also have stocked sanitary stuff, amazing! The half portion fish and chips for children is plenty and the fish is very fresh. Will definatly come again when in the area.

Well-kept beer in a lively and friendly atmosphere. Not much more I can ask for really. Easily recommended. Did not try the food but the restaurant was very busy.
Great community pub with a lovely tented "outdoor" area. Ordered some small plates and they were great. Particularly recommended the smoked haddock pate.
