Very very good. Lovely rooms very pleasant relaxing  place to stay. Decent food. Lovely lounges to have a drink in. Good for kids. They have a play area outside a play room inside and a decent kids menu. Service sometimes a bit scrappy. Had to ask twice for water with dinner than had to call someone back to the table to get water glasses. No tea spoon with cup at breakfast but over all pretty grey and a beautiful setting by the river and a little stone bridge. Highly recommend this place

Highly recommended! Interesting food choices with lots of new additional specials each day. You are able to enjoy food in the bar area and restaurant as well as out on the terrace by the river which is great in summer. The rooms are really nicely finished with good quality toiletries provided. The spa itself is lovely with a pool and jacuzzi as well as a steam room/ sauna.

Only went for a drink . Carpark was absolutely packed even mid winter. But various spacious rooms inside gave options to find a seat. Newly decorated after it was flooded creates a lovely atmosphere. Plenty of seating outside by the river as well for the walmer weather giving a great view of the arches supporting the bridge.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the Swan. Generally I prefer to stop at the Whitewater , but that's a personal preference.  The Swan does it all, with excellent accommodation, a not-too-bad bar with cask beers and adequate spa and fitness centre.  The decor doesn't do it for me, and they do a good job of making me feel about thirty years too old for them (I still can't shed that invisibility cloak when I'm stood at the bar waiting for attention), but the breakfasts make up for it all.  If in doubt, give it a go.  I'd avoid half-term holidays (hell on wheels) but try it out for yourselves. If you're susceptible to migraines, take a pair of sunglasses as some of the rooms can be gaudy to the extreme, but go on, give it a go - you might like it.

What a place! The maître d of the restaurant supplied the best service and the food was amazing. Super friendly staff, nice family vibe, really chic and fashionable. The food was reasonably priced and the location is perfect. It is truly gorgeous.
