Popped in for dinner on mothers day. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The service was great and the food was plentiful and so so delicious. They also keep a good pint. Heaven.

Lovely place to stop for a nice Sunday Roast. Only reason they dont get 5 stars is that potatoes could have been crispier

A great place to stay. All staff exceptionally friendly and a happy welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff seem to be happy in their work and this is conveyed to the guests. The manageress was really helpful to us. Breakfast was amazing served promptly and efficiently hot and beautifully cooked. Fried bread just like my mum used to make it. Thank you to all

Brilliantly quirky inn. Lovely food and great staff. Large car park. Just watch your head when walking around, some of the doorways are very low!

We booked for a Easter get away, the pub was very easy to find and the staff where so friendly when we arrived. They helped us out on what walks to do the next day. As this was the first trip and we had not pre pland anything. We ended up on a good walk and got some amazing pictures. The location is very good in driving distance of most walks and towns but lovely to come back to quiet and home cooked meals. Our dog ozzie was very welcome in the pub and we could take him anywhere. he even came for breakfast with us. We had to keep ozzies food cold and they where more than happy to pop it in the cellar to keep it cool. The room we stayed in was lovley and warm the view was amazing and had a big bath to warm you up after your walks (if needed) The food was good nice big portions and the beer was good too and not to expensive ☺️ We have alread pland our next trip and will be booking again
