We have been here a few times now for food and just for a drink. The staff are friendly polite and make the pub a warm and enjoyable place. There is a nice buzz going around and it is family friendly. The food here is nice and served well. There is a nice area for eating away from the main pub which leads onto a nice play area outside for the children. Since the Sun Inn is located by Coate Water, if you eat a little bit to much there is a nice walk that you can go on to burn a few excess calories off.

Great for Sunday lunch. Not suitable Sunday for a small lunch. Friendly staff and tasty food. Dogs allowed and has wheelchair access. Has a play park for children and adequate size parking.

We went their for lunch. Brief points about our visit: 1. They have great outdoor play area to keep kids entertained which made life lot easier when you take little ones out. 2. Sunday roast was average but the puddings were really good. 3. Staff was mixed bunch. Unfortunately waitress has looked like she wasn't very keen. We had to request her attention despite it not being busy. Would say don't expect great but at same time if you want to take young ones out for pub meal then I lived the fact that it caters well for them. I wouldn't recommend it as a great place but still has its pluses

Great place, they allowe dogs in bar area which after a good walk around coate. A nice pint and lunch. Quality.

Really enjoyed it and will be back regularly I'm sure. We've been for lunch twice in a matter of days, once for a sandwich (which was delicious, and a huge plate of food!) and once for Sunday lunch, which was excellent as well. Friendly staff and atmosphere.
