Our experienced staff pride themselves in offering that personal touch, ensuring your day is unique and one to cherish.

Ingon Manor Hotel, an elegant 14th Century, country house set in over 130 acres of rolling countryside, you’ll find an oasis of calm, comfort and warmth. Alongside tastefully appointed accommodation, superb catering and a stunning wedding venue. The unique Elizabethan suite,a converted 16th century barn complete with its own minstrels gallery, overlooking the golf course comfortably seats wedding parties of 120 and 165 for an evening buffet.

Our chef is always willing to create special menus should you wish to add specific dishes that are not listed.

Where to start. Positives first, we were staying in the newly opened building and the rooms are of a very high quality and still have the fresh new carpet smell to them. The evening meal was good quality and the burger was superb. Staff in the bar area were brilliant and very attentive, as was gent in the pro shop.
The morning bacon sandwich and breakfast, and sandwich and chips for lunch were perfectly acceptable.
The golf course was in great condition, with very quick greens, is a fair challenge for mid to high handicappers. The greens though have domed cups and do not set the plastic inserts down far enough, which means you can't force a two foot putt without it bouncing out, and as the cups are domed can leave you looking silly trying to roll in a 2 footer dead weight.
Now for the negative, as a society that has been visiting for a number of years, have always had a set price for golf, rooms, meal and buggies. This year buggies on first day were given, however on second day were made to pay additional £25 per buggy. The cost is pretty much inconsequential, the manner in which the manager of the hotel spoke and the downright rude attitude and could not give a s**t attitude was appalling. There was no customer service, and no empathy. Unfortunately, the lasting impression will be of that final interaction with the resort.

We visited for a formal lunch. The service and food was excellent. The location would have been stunning I am sure, if the visibility had been clearer as there was some mist in the distance.

Beautiful place, attended a work function here. Staff and food were both top notch. Plenty of parking available.

Better now that the upgrade and new rooms are complete. Also the menus has improved.

Will never visit this place again.   We arranged a work golf day where upfront the price was agreed of £10 per player for 9 holes of golf by one of our staff who was a member.  Upon arrival they refused to honour the £10 payments and told us £15 to play 9 holes.  

Then they told the member this was to many guests to bring to the course.   We played our 9 holes the member not getting to enjoy his from the frustration.   

The next day he tries to log into the members area to find out his membership has been cancelled.   Absolute joke of a golf club, would not hand them a penny.  Much nicer courses with friendly management close by.

The other review on here about this day out by Jon Owens has lead to a phone call informing him of his immediate suspension of membership, Since this review was posted.

Very Unprofessional management, do not give these people your money.
