On the face of it, this is an unremarkable, standard town centre pub. However, we appreciated the friendly staff and surprisingly good beer. Luckily for me, Whitby Brewery's superb Jet Black porter was on when we visited.

Brilliant, under the circumstances with covid rules felt very safe. Staff doing amazing job, very friendly and careful. Loved it

Lovely atmospheric pub opposite the train station.  Good tap selection  but only 1 Whitby brewery beer surprisingly.  Free WiFi.
