I'm here in Whitby having a solo weekend away. I have never in my life sat and had a drink on my own in a pub but nipped into here and it was so lovely!! Brilliant warm atmosphere, sat next to a lovely warm fire. Didn't feel like a freaky weirdo Billy no mates at all. Great little pub.
Beautiful me and my wife loved it
Sat for 2 hours with children before being told no children allowed, bit of an inconvenience mind. Sat in there countless times with kids. Also mentioned to barkeep I needed a couple of cokes for children and he didn't say a word. Otherwise good prices and nice beer garden.
Absolutely love this pub, my favourite in Whitby....

Friendly locals type pub . Good beer with outside seating area
Very helpful staff and various drinks. Table service and take cash only.
Proper old style boozer. No kids,no dogs and no debit cards! Covid safe as well.
Nice pub but limited beer choice and cash only
Lovely court yard beer garden Limited choice of beers but garden made up for it
