Stayed for one night. Lovely harbour view. Tasty Breakfast. Perfect location for exploring Whitby harbour. Rooms are a little dated.
Very friendly and welcoming as always, social distancing the works, highly recommended.
Stopped in during our recent trip. Ordered a pizza and was one of the best pub pizzas we've had. Very welcoming pub and also allows dogs too.
Unfortunately, we ordered 3 scampi and chips, and only 2 were served to us, even though there were 3 of us at the table, we then picked at ours waiting for them to bring another but by the time it came ours was practically cold. Also one of us ordered beans with our meal and what came had clearly been reheated several times.
Great stay, very clean throughout, small rooms but so comfy, lovely views, en suite, brew gear, bottled water in rooms, great choice for breakfast, steep stairs though for less able. Can be a little noisy at times but to be expected being an Inn on the waterfront. Definitely stay here again.
Great pub, good atmosphere and dog friendly ‍
Rooms are basic but comfortable. Staff very polite. Covid rules being followed. Been going there for last 4 years. Lovely breakfast.
Great friendly service, food came out promptly, piping hot, homemade and delicious! They are Adhering to social distancing standards very well. I have already recommended to family to visit when in whitby and I will definitely be coming back for fish and chips on my next visit.
Just booked a night, £100 including breakfast so no cheap but great views from the room window, food very good
