We popped in as we were passing and was surprised by the welcome that we received, a really warm and genuine greeting that made us feel welcome indeed. We ordered a couple of sandwiches which arrived in a timely manner and they were delicious, along with a couple of drinks it made our day out that little bit more satisfying.

Just had a delicious meal here. We had 2 x steaks, medium rare and a medium. Cooked to perfection. Onion rings were crispy and the Diane sauce was really tasty. Can't recommend enough. Thankyou

Visited with friends for Sunday lunch and it was amazing. Good size portions, fluffy Yorkshire pudding and fresh seasonal vegetables. Would definitely recommend

Great meal and very friendly staff. All home cooked food steak pie was outstanding. Not one bad thing found by anyone in our group well recommended

Lovely outdoor seating. Good food and generous portions.

Went at 3.30pm on a Friday afternoon, had the dog do sat in the beer garden. Very pleasant had a few drinks then left.  Did not try any food on our visit.

Nice pub and beer garden. Sat in the sun and had steak and ale pie. Best pie ever and lots of veg with it. Will definitely go again.
