Fantastic pub, amazing food. Love that its phone/tablet free inside the pub. Highly recommended!

Very strict phone policy which was nice. But it sort led to an odd atmosphere upstairs because no music and lots of tables sat in silence. Food was excellent and staff bubbly and friendly. would recommend this to anyone visiting Whitby.

Really dressed the pub for Halloween, deserves to do good business. Open fire made the place really cosy.

Had really nice food here. Simple reduced menu but well cooked and presented. Good social distancing in place.

Love this little homely pub, best thing about it no mobile phones allowed no jukebox or fruit machines, if you try to use your mobile you will be asked to put it away or leave, makes for a better pub no phones ringing all the time
