Very good atmosphere love the location. This was our first visit to the Fleece definitely won't be our last.
Snug little pub serving good beer in a pleasant environment, the decor is well thought out and gives a homely feel to the place, the out door beer garden is excellently laid out with a good view of the harbour, the outdoor area is segregated into smoking and non smoking areas so it can be enjoyed by all. The only fly in the ointment was on the day we were there the area seemed to be swarming with overexcited children which made it difficult to relax, will definitely go back again... Just after children's bedtime
Only stopped her for a drink once but good selection of beers and very pleasant snall outside raised area facing the sun and overlooking the harbour. Seemed like a popular local pub rather than one for the tourists.
Best little pub in Whitby! I don't say that mildly, this is a great little pub me and my friends vsit this pub on a regular basis and it literally is the go-to spot, a great pint, great value and awesome staff with a nice quaint feel to it, outside seating and smoking area and two sperate bar areas, has a car park just opposite so easy to get to and from, there's a local fish and chip shop just over the road too. It's kinda a little off the beaten track as most people walk up into Whitby so there's often good seat availability but it does now get pretty busy, a credit to the owners I think. Fab pub, love it here... miss the pool table but still a great pub.
Nice little pub, slightly tucked out the way besides the bay, probably more locals than tourists in there but still a nice relaxed atmosphere x
Spotlessly clean pub,a lovely open fire,great selection of ales and ciders. Also sell a tasty pork pie. Dog friendly too...

Cracking little boozer. Wide selection of drinks with ice cream for the kids. Very comprehensive gin menu. Lovely cold pint of Carling @ £4. Unfortunately couldn't sit outside due to being busy, but inside the bar is pleasant with comfy bench seating. Quality musical playlist on in the background which included the talking heads and echo and the bunny men. Mint little pub. Enjoyed a few beers, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back
Great vibe, lovely staff and good selection of beer. What's not to like! We visited on Holiday ,with the bonus of Folk music week, made this a great experience . Recommended.
Fabulous atmosphere, beautiful open fire, ideal place to be on a cold winters evening..
