I loved listening to it's history. The manager was very friendly and there was an other woman who was telling us a smuggling history of this pub. It was quiet when we were there but enjoyed having a local ale and chatting with the ladies.
Good selection of beers. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Nice location right on the beach, in summer you can sit outside with your drinks. Very family friendly, well behaved dogs are more than welcome. The Smugglers is also well known locally as a live music venue for quality bands.
Only two ales on my visit but a great location by the sea. Live music livens the place up.
Granny annie's as it's now known situated mint and dogs are welcome. Outside seating right on the beach

Great music from Paul Liddell and great craic and company from the guys down at the Smugglers. Thanks to Paul for his hospitality too
