Under new management since Mon 12th Dec 2022... There is a lovely warm welcoming atmosphere...plenty of football fans as situated not far from stadium of light...the new management are very friendly and welcoming and the regular customers are a lovely mix of young and old and each person was very engaging and wonderful to converse with...inside is a tidy and spacious venue with a lovely open log fire. They host a darts and domino team on a monday night, with more fun community activities to be put in place. There is a good selection of beers and spirits and all very well priced...draught beer was lovely with an eclectic selection of bottled beers. All in all it's a fantastic pub, ideally situated CANNOT recommend highly enough.
Go there before every match. Lovely set of lasses that work the bar. Always friendly and welcoming. Big thumbs up from me.
New floor covering but need to build up its customers again; hit-and-miss opening times: Although should be open forachfays and weekends.
Interesting Sat night, lively pub. First time here for a few years, I will call again.
I visited family that were going to the football before and after the match. Before the match, full of football fans relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Nice place for a couple of drinks. After the match, it turned into a teen disco with overly loud DJ. It was full and the kids seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Went to Ukraine fundraiser. Great night. The drag act was fab. Lots of fun and laughter. Nice atmosphere. Good pint.
Great drinking pub rough round the edges but great beer
Great atmosphere on a match day. Can't ask for anything more. Staff are great with the kids as well.
Was a pub that I went in with my dad.
