Booked several rooms here for a family event. For 2 of the rooms we requested cots for the infants in the party. Was very disappointed to find upon checking in that the mattresses in both cots were ill fitting and in 1 had no foam, meaning it was a very hard surface for an 8 week old baby! I informed reception that the cots were unsuitable and showed him the photos, including that of the safety card provided, stating not to use if mattresses could be lifted by the child using the cot, which in the case of the 1 year old in the party would have been possible. Initially I was informed that they were the only cots available. When I explained to the gentleman that travel cots should and do have mattresses that fit better than those and that in my opinion the bases had been mixed with other cots. He did go and look and was able to find other cots, which did in fact have better fitting mattresses and finally offered us replacements. He did also say he would speak to the manager to ensure that all cots were checked to make sure the mattresses are the correct ones for the frame. Hopefully this is actually acted on to prevent others from finding themselves in the same situation with dangerous conditions for their children to sleep in I would also add that one of the blankets provided was stained and unsuitable, luckily we had packed our own blankets for the baby so didn’t need to use it. Despite the disappointment with regards to the cots and the initial response. Once it was dealt with correctly we did go on to enjoy our stay and would return.
Clean, tidy and a comfortable bed. Staff are always friendly in the hotel and in the restaurant. It’s a small distance taxi/drive/bus outside the city centre but we like that as it’s quieter.
The hotel was great staff were friendly and the breakfast was 100%. My only complaint nothing to do with the hotel was noise from above our room at 3am in the morning like a heard of elephants which woke all 4 of us in our room. I had to ring reception to complain which they said they would call the room above and the noise stopped soon after. All in all would definitely stay here again if up in Londonderry.
Had an absolute fantastic time there with my family. Reception were very welcoming, especially Rosemary. My son took to her very much as did we all. Will be back!!Rooms: 4/5
I paid €625 for two nights in the Mespil Dublin last weekend, premier inn crescent link was every bit as good. Great staff, friendly and couldn't do enough for you, comfortable bed, clean and the breakfast was fabulous. Did I say the staff were great? They were , Rooms: 5/5
The worst stay I've ever had in a hotel. Staff not prepared to deal with the excessively noisy guests in the room above resulting in 3 nights of no sleep. Bed was really uncomfortable. WiFi was woeful, and staff not prepared to rectify this either. The only saving grace was the restaurant next door. Awful. If you want to sleep, go elsewhere.
Never stayed here, but I understand the rooms are lovely + clean,+ the food is soooo good!!Lovely, helpful staffService: 5/5
Bit far out from city centre had to get buses and taxis but the room was good and breakfast was lovely and staff very friendly and attentive.Rooms: 4/5
What a lovely beautiful clean hotel. Excellent restaurant too. Highly recommend
It's OK that's about it, if u order a twin, u get a double bed and a single one in the corner lumpy and uncomfortable, the lift is broken so if you have bad legs your in trouble, whoever puts the toilet paper in the holder needs retraining and put your hand about 11 inches away from the soap dispenser spout otherwise you won't get any on your hands, it's an OK place if your having an affair, that's about it, food from the pub could be better as well
