It’s not often I’m able to find a pub I’m really happy with, but The New Derby ticks all the boxes for me. A very nice pint, very reasonably priced, friendly and personable bar manager, big screen TV, music, pool table, food, very comfortable atmosphere and cozy decor. It’s going to take me 5 more weeks to qualify for my free 6th pint but I’m more than happy to come back. Best pub I’ve visited for a long time.
The staff are nice and knowledgeable about their products, the food is beautiful and plenty. Also not expensive what is important to mention this age. We are glad to have found this gem of a place for our get togethers.
Food was amazing... we had fish & chips and my autistic son had cheesy garlic bread. Staff were so kind & friendly. We'll definitely go back
Came in for food and drinks on our visit down from Scotland. Chris is doing a wonderful job, the atmosphere was brilliant, the food was excellent and served very fast and the drinks went down a treat. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend if in the area.
Good pub,decent enough food and the prices were great,enjoyed our visit overall,only let down by a staff member commenting "why are loads of people with dogs coming in today?" when she seen us,not the most welcoming reception we've ever had.
My husband and I are visiting from the U.S. and popped in for drinks and something to eat. Lovely pub with a nice friendly atmosphere, food was delicious and staff couldn't be more helpful
Attended a charity football match. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Went back to the New Derby first timer and it was lovely. Great crowd of people . Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Will definitely pay another visit
Proper Local pub with some quality food on the menu as well !! Can't wait to head back there !!
