My friends and I had a great night here! We had booked to see the Mavericks and stayed here. The owner was brilliant and the location great! The breakfast was really good the only odd thing was everything ordered came at the same time. There is a peaceful garden you can sit and have a tea or coffee. We will be back! Thanks for a good stay.
The staff were all very friendly and helped us understand how to get around London. It is an excellent location for getting around - one of the reasons we selected it was that there were so many public transit options going whichever way you want within a few minutes walk. The room was pretty good. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet with a pretty view to the back gardens. The room and bathroom itself felt a little cramped for the two of us. The breakfast in the morning had many options of which we tried almost all of. I would recommend the full English or the bacon sandwich!
Disappointing. Waist of money. The check in process delayed, staff unfriendly and not helpful. Staff not well presented. We had to wait in the Restaurant for the rooms to be ready. The restaurant was a disappointment, 4 of the items we ordered were not available and the waiter try to explain and apologies. One of our rooms did not have hot water and the 2nd room not enough towels. Breakfast were once again disappointed as products like bacon and ham were not available, waiting time for the breakfast to be prepared were 40min. I would not recommend this Hotel/ apartments.
The location is amazing, really close to Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Street, plenty dof places to eat and shop and two tube stations. Service is great, and it comes with free breakfast. The only downside is the rooms, where there weren't single beds available.Rooms: 3/5
Cheap and cheerful. Great location, decent room and friendly staff. Would definitely consider staying again if I'm in that area of London. Walkability: Easy reach of a number of Tube stations and Shaftesbury Ave into the West End.
Attempted stay here 15-17 Jan. Bed bugs found in 2 beds in middle of night. Had to relocate to new hotel. Hotel staff zero help; said they offered room at sister hotel- flat out false. They did refund my payment but refused to cover additional cost of new hotel. Absolutely do not recommend. Room extremely shabby.
The room was very nice and clean and it had AC there were some hot days. It fit 3 adults very comfortable but had little space around the beds but enough for us to be able to walk around. It had a very useful desk, a foldable table and two chairs. WiFi in the room was very good. Complementary breakfast was very good and people were very friendly. The patio was closed at that time so we could not see it. Only con is that it was it second floor without any elevator and getting our luggage up was little tough but front desk guy helped
Toilet seat non existent. Room very small. No breakfast if you have an early startRooms: 1/5
Very cozy room for one with everything a person could need...liked the fridge and microwave as I was staying for quite a few days. Rooms: As I say the rooms for one are very cozy, but kept beautifully clean. Very quiet at night... Nearby activities: Very close to british museum and Tottenham court road and all transportation to get to all popular spots. Walkability: Can walk to lots of nearby places...oxford street, Regent street, Piccadilly etc. If you are so inclined. Food & drinks: They do provide breakfast in a very cute room downstairs. I can't comment on it however, as I am not a morning breakfast person...I do know it was cooked fresh !! Noteworthy details: Very helpful staff. Don't come expecting a big flashy hotel. This is a fairly typical rowhouse conversion with quite a few period details still in place which I personally appreciate. I also liked the fact that you get your own door key so no worries about staying out late. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back.
We were disappointed with this hotel. It is very run down and shabby, with scuffed, grubby and worn wallpaper and furniture - although surfaces, towels and bedding were clean. We had put on our booking form request that one of us is dairy free lactose intolerant and pointed it out when checking-in, but we were both served milk and butter at breakfast anyway. When we asked if there were any alternatives available we were met with supercilious aggression even though we were enquiring, not complaining. 'This is a 3 star B&B, not a 4 or 5 star hotel' we were told - a fair point I suppose, but nastily made. The food we did have was OK, but a very small portion and beware you have to order the night before. Unfortunately we have struggled to find anything positive to say about our stay here and do not recommend.
