Staff were unfriendly and even rude. Bar was meant to be open til 11pm and was closed at 10pm meaning no other options for soft drinks. Food in restaurant was so basic and mostly cold. Mattress in room was terrible and needed replacing as we could feel springs through. And tripping hazards in the morning with laundry in corridors!!! Only nice thing we can say it was a clean hotel mostly and in a reasonable location to city centre. Rooms: Basic but had what was needed. Mattress needs replacing. Nearby activities: Good location, 10 min walk to city centre Bullring. Safety: Tripping hazards with laundry everywhere in the mornings. Walkability: Close to city Food & drinks: Don't bother with the food, just walk a few mins and you will find cafe, restaurants that serve better, tastier and hot food for less cost!
The room was nice and clean, very pleasant, the only downside was the walls are very thin and you can hear people in the next room chatting away and also the room was very hot, we couldn't really have the window open as it was on street level and anyone could have come in through the window while we were sleeping. We were told there would be SKA event on that night until 1am, but that was ok as we were told in advance. Staff were very nice and pleasant too. The location was a bit too far from the centre, but otherwise it was a great stay for the money.
We would stay again. The rooms are a bit tired but clean and comfortable bed. Not too bad price either. Only 10mins walk from trendy Digbeth so good location.Rooms: 3/5
Lovely stay at this hotel. Really friendly staff, comfortable room and nice food. Not too far from city centre and dog friendlyRooms: 5/5
Everything is fine, staff were good on arrival, barman was cool, bar woman was cool, the breakfast was great everything was ok, stayed on top floor everything ok with room really comfy, couldn't hear any noise, only thing disappointing was England lost, amd the location if the pub was somewhere else it would be better place to stay but would happily come back here. All staff were amazing will happy say which room we stayed at do you know who has wrote this Rooms: Missis loved the room and the matching blind to the blacket and pillows Food & drinks: Drinks where cheap breakfast was perfect will definitely come back on a Sunday for the breakfast
One of the more traditional pubs in Digbeth, decent beer and lovely staff with love music or DJ's on most weekendsService: 5/5
Fab stay at the Mosley arms- rooms are clean and tidy. Well worth the price you pay, would recommend to anyone visiting Birmingham.Rooms: 5/5
Brilliant price for staying a short walk away from the city centre. Parked the car and was safe. Pub had entertainment on which wrapped up just after 10 so not too late. Would definitely recommend and return!Rooms: 4/5
This was an absolute delight- our mate was down for the night and is a lifetime goth so we thought we'd give the goth night a go on a whim. What a great night we had - area is a bit sketchy but the venue is very nice and felt safe... clean, good size, good doorstaff, good crowd, quick service and good prices despite being busy, clean toilets, excellent music and a huge outdoor space. Really enjoyed ourselves and would go again. Can't speak for the venue day to day, but we enjoyed this event.
Great location for the city centre with free parking for residents. Within walking distance of the o2 institute or less than £10 by taxi. Considering the location it was quite quiet at night apart from the occasional noise from other guests. It could be a much better experience with a little more care. The room was cheap but the beds weren't comfortable, lumpy pillows, no mattress protectors on the beds and a flat sheet that didn't quite cover the whole mattress. There were plenty of plugs and mirrors in the room. The extractor fan in the bathroom was broken, with no window, so the bathroom smelled damp as soon as you walked in. The grout in the shower was turning black. No hooks or rail to hold your towels in the bathroom. The finer details in the room were missed, things like crumbs in the drawers and a toilet brush I'd rather not describe. Whilst it wasn't a problem for us, there are a lot of stairs to tackle to get to some of the rooms. The staff on arrival seemed like they couldn't really be bothered with customers but the morning staff sorry, only caught Tracey's name were all very friendly and helpful. The whole area where the rooms are was hotter than hell with no way of turning the heating down in the room. We had a wall mounted heater in our room that we didn't use and had to open the window. Towels, soap and body wash are provided, as well as a tea tray. It did the job for one night but I don't think we'd have tolerated those beds any longer.
