Beautiful and historic Guildhall. Amazing history and informative throughout. Nice cafe and shop too..Nice staff very helpful.
Great cup of tea, delish mince pie. Free admission to the hall instead of £6.50. Level access can be found via a passageway next to the Hairy Fig Shop. This also gives an excellent view of the hall
Had a great visit here today, staff were lovely and very knowledgeable. Glad we didn't take the children with us, not sure they would have appreciated it, but we certainly did.
Terrific ploughman's and a good beer. Cider with a cheese and chutney sandwich for my wife. Then cake. All delicious and service to march. Great spot for a lazy afternoon. Even better when the hall is fully open again.
Lovely place to visit very interesting, included in the York Pass which I highly recommend getting as there’s so many attractions included. Spent around 30-40 minutes. There’s also a cafe if you want a drink and sit in the garden.
Visited the cafe for lunch, due to the current situation a part of the musuem was being used for seating. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, sandwich and coffee were really tasty....would definitely go back!
Due to covid restrictiond we were only able to visit the outdoor cafe , but we did enjoy our drinks & snacks. The hall did look superb from the outside and it was a shame we could not visit properly but will try again in the future
Really interesting tour and a lovely cafe for lunch
It was a good experience to say the least. They had many pictures and artifacts from old ages. Great for children
