Excellent lil museum, of the ilk that York excels at. Worth watching the film that runs about Battle of Towton.... Very informative and educational. Recommend this lil museum, it's very good. Friendly staff too.
If you have an interest in R3 then this place is worth a visit. It's now £5 to get in but there is some interesting stuff in here and if you read it all you could be here for over an hour! Much better value than Clifford's Tower which has a higher admission charge with less to see!
Interesting, go to the top first and work your way down for the history to make sense.
Love it . literally walking in the footsteps of history.
Good place to visit, althoun if like me and youre not good with small spaces or stairs you may struggle as the stairs are steep and the space is compact, they even have a horrible history tent to explain things to children
