Very good couple of hours spent here with my children. Will definitely be returning. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. This is not wheelchair friendly and the steps may also be a problem for individuals with limited mobility. No cafe or toilets but there is plenty near by, so not a big issue.
Very interesting place hidden away at the top of micklegate bar. Dressing up & arts & crafts for the kids. Plenty of information, costumes & displays.
Interesting and in contrast to the Richard III. experience absolutely appropriate for visits with children.
Free walk around the city - beautiful scenery all around
Not worth the long walk across town. Just some sign boards to read and little of interest. Couldn’t justify the entry free. Go to the Richard III experience on the other side of town. It’s much better and the gate towers are identical.
Friendly staff, small exhibition but well put together.
