Beautiful exhibition of magic and mystery objects, myths, and scientific techniques of the past. Charming place with friendly workers and lovely music. It's worth it to take a look inside just because of its lovely environment. Not adapted for wheelchairs and very nice documents of the past.
Absolutely amazing, a gem of an attraction tucked away in a snickleway that we wouldn't have found if we hadn't done Mad Alice's Bloody Tour of York. Fabulous
Tucked away doon a snickelway but worth locating. Really good place n kids love it - very popular with the little folk. Another good chunk of York history available to the viewing public, int York just fab?! Has so much to offer visitors.
Was not that good would have been better if you could see all the house
Beautiful painstaking recreation of a medieval Hall. Friendly staff. Theres not a ton to see and its not an interactive experience, we loved it because of the banquet Hall
Small but impressive bit of medieval history right in the heart of York. Little hidden behind the shops but well worth finding and spending an hour there, especially as a cheap addition to a Jorvik ticket.
