Nice ruins and nice park for the picnic near town centre!
Ancient relics in a garden. Enjoyed sunshine also the historical remains with plants.
W hat a wonderful setting for the York Proms. A relaxing peaceful gardens with historic ruins. A great place to have your lunch and stop for an ice cream on a sunny day.
Must if visiting York go and visit here
This may be my favorite place in York. Stunning site of the old abbey St. Mary's Abbey is situated in a lovely area. Not much remains of the Abbey itself, except some parts of a couple of walls and plenty of rocks. The gardens are beautiful and they make for a lovely picnic spot!

This place is amazing, the day was very rany but we could enjoy all the attraction of York
Just had a quick walk round in my lunch break. Lots of squirrels in the grounds and would be nice on a summers day
