Lovely little b&b made to feel very welcome.Breakfast was spot on filled us up for day. Will go again.

We stayed at Wyeclose for the Chatsworth Proms evening. When we arrived we thought it was a lovely friendly B&B well located. The owner is very efficient if not overly friendly. You are definitely a customer and not a guest. We were asked for a breakfast time of between 7 and 9am which we felt for a Sunday morning was a bit early. However there were notes asking us to observe the 10am check out to allow for room makeup for further guests. We had breakfast at 8.50 and after breakfast and a chat with the owner about our evening (she also told us there was no-one staying that evening so we felt there was no rush) we packed our things and were about to vacate our room at 10.05 when she appeared asking if we needed help with our bags. I said we were fine and we were about to go when she raised her eyebrows and made a point of looking at her watch and then about turned. I couldn't believe it. We were being ushered out as we had outstayed our welcome by 5 or ten minutes. We won't be staying again

Nice little B&B in center of Bakewell,great location,2 min walk to town center. Found out that the owner is an X cookery/domestic science teacher. That expains the excellent breakfast,nice little touches like almond milk and aspertain free sweetner for the food sensative types. I had fry up,that set me up for the day,but imaging she does nice breakfast for the none meaters. Nice litte details like umberellas to borrow,and dvds. I was hoping the the owner would adopt me,it fely a propet home from home. Thanks. Take no notice of the street veiw house picture ,its wrong the actual house is much granter. Sat nav takes you to front of the house,parking is at the rear.
