The staffs are friendly and polite. The breakfast is very good. The room feels cosy and it is very clean. The bed is comfortable.

Nice Hotel parking can be difficult and showers need to be better. Food very nice and staff helpful. Not a bad hotel just a few minor things that could put you off if you were expecting a 5 star service.

Went for new years eve. Booked 2 rooms,one in the main hotel and one in the courtyard. The double room had a mouldy shower curtain and could do with updating. We were told the rooms had fridges but did not find any. The single room was more modern but definitely a single. If you can't climb stairs I was not book here as there are 2 large flights to contend with. We have not yet experience the evening meal so will update later. Have now finished the 5 course dinner and to be honest was not good. Felt as though we were at a wedding without the bride and groom. Portions very small and quality very low. Not value for money but it is what is. Breakfast was average, sausages overcooked. On a more positive the staff were helpful, just let down by the chefs cooking.

Nice hotel,friendly staff. Good breakfast and dinner. Loved the Jane Austin room !

The hotel is located in the centre of Bakewell. The rooms are a good size, but the showers are not good. It's only a little stream of water. Heating didn't work in the bathroom. Breakfast is good, but rushed as there are not enough tables for the size of the hotel.
