The Luxe is a stylish independent cinema in the historic town of Wisbech, Cambs.

The Box Office opens half an hour before the first film of the day.

Story

The interior of the auditorium offers a luxurious atmosphere, where one can cosy up and relax on either a leather armchair or a two-seater sofa to watch films.

The sophisticated Luxe Lounge provides an ambient setting for enjoying pre and post-film drinks and nibbles with a difference in our elegant, fully licensed bar.

Box Office Hours:
Our Box Office is open daily from around noon.
(These times may vary, depending on our scheduled film showings.)

Ticket Prices:

Adult | £5
Children (14 & Under) | £2.50

Premier Seating:
£15 for a sofa (£7.50 per person).

Premium Knoll sofas, situated at the back of the auditorium, with comfy cushions and waitress service to bring you your drinks and snacks throughout the film!

Always a warm welcome at this friendly little cinema, a favourite haunt unusual in having a nice bar offering waited service to your seat if you book the premium seats you can even have a Sofa , which is very comfortable, they have a range of biscuits crisps nuts and of course popcorn ! You even get an interval like back in the day, so you don’t have to miss anything to pop to the Loo!, a lovely way to enjoy an evening entertainment, they live stream concerts and plays from the National Theatre and the Royal Ballet too I really cannot recommend the Luxe highly enough and although I have not visited all of them I would imagine all the Picturehouse independent cinemas are much the same excellent standard and very good value for money Julie
Went to see Avatar The Way of the water. First visit to the Luxe, will definitely be going back. Very warm welcome when we arrived at the cinema, had 2 coffees and 2 bags of sweets for under £12. We had booked a 2seater sofa, each seat had a small swivel table with a cup holder and room to put your sweets and phone. Sofa was extremely comfortable. Worth the journey from Peterborough
Really comfortable and enjoyable experience. Booking system online is a bit of a faff and I ended up buying two lots of tickets - but this was quickly rectified by the staff you get to talk to a REAL person! For these reasons, we will be going back and would highly recommend.
If you love cinema, you'll love it here The Luxe punches well above its weight. Cosy, comfortable, welcoming, friendly and a darn sight less expensive than the big boys. Easy, close, free parking and everything you'd expect front of house, including the popcorn. Book a massively comfortable.

Visited the cinema for the first time this week and what a pleasant surprise. Such a nice change from the large, corporate, take your money and herd you in multiplexes. It is so unusual today to be treated as a valuable customer than just a number. The staff are incredible. So friendly and accommodating. even showing us to our seat! We had a sofa at the back of the cinema which was really comfortable.. all the seating looked comfortable with plenty of room. and we were told just to text if we wanted any drinks or food bought to us during the film!! No more large multi screen cinemas for us…. Booking our next film. We will now be regulars!!
Myself and my fiancée visited the Luxe Cinema last night and all I can say is "WOW" This was our first experience and we will definitely return a lot more. The place is very clean and welcoming, the staff are very pleasant and the prices for the experience you receive is fantastic value. The picture and sound quality was exceptional. I would rate this 5/5 stars.
Cheap cinema tickets but the food and drink is very expensive. No prices displayed. Was told its because stock changes continuously. Yeah, I'm sure you have a different type of popcorn and drinks on tap. The cinema room itself smelt of urine and was very off-putting. £4 small popcorn and £5 for a tango blast. Think I'll be using the bigger more known cinemas in the future.
Great little cinema, and really comfy chairs. First class service to. A great night out
went to see coldplays live board cast really nice place staff really helpful only complaint was could have been louder unless that's a fault with sitting on the sofas at the back
