Nice cinema and great films we went to see The Brand new Freakier Friday film and it was awesome Highly recommend that film. One thing I would say where the screens are the carpets need changing they smell horrible and not very inviting. We still come back but just hold your nose and breath in when walking from screen to screen.
We're glad that Cineworld remains open in Ely given recent closures around the country.nIt's especially valued for holiday movies for the kids. Movies 4 Juniors and the £1 movies that they have run in the summer holiday 2025 mean it's affordable for the little ones to experience the big screen. I also recently took my 2 year old to some Julia Donaldson screenings.nThis Cineworld is always clean and the staff are always pleasant.nIt is a great resource to have in our little city.
I have never had a bad experience since the cinema opened 2017.nnThe staff are always friendly and accommodating, and they don't judge me and my husband for standing outside until the trailers are over.nnThe popcorn is always tasty and the pick n mix and great and not stale. We go to the cinema at minimum one a week and can't get enough. Seats are the nice thick red seats with soft armrests. They have 6 screens and so far haven't had a bad seat.
It is pretty clean and bathroom is good too. Screen quality is good but there was broken seats again. Theater is smaller than others but not bad. Sit in the back
Extremely unhelpful staff who refused to help my daughter look in the screen for her car key when she left it there by accident. She was made to wait for 2 and a half hours in the foyer until the following film finished at 10.45pm. She was told that they can’t go in and interrupt the film to look for it! When she was allowed to go in, the key was on a seat. It would have taken them only a few moments to have a quick check to her. So disappointed in the customer service!
