Clean and relatively comfortable, albeit creaky seats. Visited on a week night and the screen was nearly full by the time the movie started. Not as nice as local competitors however I've recently signed up for the unlimited tickets and for £20 a month so well worth it!
I booked to see an animated film today with the person I support. Screen 6 was our designated screen. Nice cinema with friendly staff. The cinema room itself screen 6 was a bit to loud for a small cinema as no-ones that deaf that they can't here it at a slighly lower volume especially as it is on surround sound speakers. When any music was played within the animation it was distorted on the right hand speakers, which wasn't pleasant for the person I support as he kept looking to the right instead of at the film a lot of the time.
Staff polite, it was clean. Seats were a bit creaky but comfortable nonetheless. Audio was really good quality, but a little too loud and I have bad hearing, my wife and I felt like we'd been in a nightclub afterwards! Toilets could do with a refresh, the place is beginning to show it's age. Won't be hurrying back but I wouldn't avoid it, would go again as it's close by.
Its a bit run down and has zero money pumped into it.nIf your sitting in screen 1 do not...and I cant repeat this hard enough...DO NOT sit in the back 4 rows unless you are part lizard and require extreme heat to keep you going. A sauna on the sun would be colder.nnAlso as with all Cineworld at the moment - the website and the app say two very different things. Which the staff are more than happy to complain about when you get there...but since they no longer have a phone line you dont know which is correct until you arrive.nnGood luck!
The website booted me when booking & when the tickets went through they were for today rather than tomorrow. I contacted Cineworld straight away to return or change the booking but they wouldn’t do anything. Literally took my money for nothing. Digital it is from now on. It’s no wonder Cinema is dying. Sad really.
