Story

An all digital cinema close to a great selection of restaurants located in the heart of Wisbech.

At The Light we cover all of your movie-going needs, showing the latest blockbusters, independent film, and bring back classics for to either revisit or experience for the first time on the big screen.

We also offer a range of event cinema in our Light Arts programme that featues ballet, opera and theatre, plus music, sport too!

You can kick back and enjoy a wide selection of hot drinks, plus an extensive collection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails in our cafe bar. All of our screens are fully licenced so you can enjoy a drink whist sat in our luxury seating.

The Light is a champion of accessible cinema and provide a wide range of screenings so everybody can enjoy a day at the movies. Our programme includes subtitled, autism friendly, audio described, baby friendy and dementia friendly films!

A wonderful cinema....lots of leg space...comfy wide seats...nobody in your view in front of you. Great sound and picture! However what most people don't know is that you can bring your own food like popcorn sweets and drinks as long as it isn't alcoholic and hot cooked food. You can bring your own snacks since it is expensive to buy in the cinema. It is an amazing place....lots of screens. Also good deals available online...like £5 per head during the week before 12 noon.... as well as family packages. A Great Place to be!!! 5*****

This is a really lovely cinema. The staff are great. Really helpful and more often than not very cheerful. Seats are fantastic. Really comfortable. Nice sized screens. Exceptional value to join and the benefits when taking someone with you. Immediate 25% off snacks unlike some cinemas where you have to be a member for a year before that kicks in. I love it here. Only down side, not the cinemas fault in any way, there are still morons that talk throughout a film. My suggestion? Spend that £20 in a pub and don’t annoy film fans

Just love this place. No frills just a cinema and that's how I like it. The prices are reasonable and they do some good offers. Food can be a bit pricey though. Otherwise I would highly recommend this place.

Dressed up quite nicely on the outside, but the inside is cramped. The screening rooms are decorated abysmally. People don't talk through the movie though, which is a very big pro to this place!

Lovely cinema. We always buy snacks elsewhere as its expensive for food and drink as are all cinemas thou. Always get a seateven on new releases. Nice and spacious and comfy seating. Enough parking and Tesco handily close by. Staff always appear happy.
