Used to be one of the best pubs in Birmingham. Since the Covid situation and the rebranding to ‘Clifden’, it’s gone massively downhill. Staff are rude and un accommodating
Pleased to see they have a vegan option for their roasts. Nice surprise to have roast potatoes and mash. Red cabbage is always a welcome addition. Shame to not have a vegan Yorkshire Pudding or and option for dessert. Would recommend.
Kind of lost its soul since the refurb. It used to be quirky pub that was pretty good for real ale, it is not that anymore. It has become over priced and more of a London-esque gastro pub. It's great if that's what you're looking for. The outside area is still very good.
Good atmosphere. Great food. Good portions
Really great friendly atmosphere. Bar staff are lovely. Our Sunday lunch tasted home cooked and was amazing. Great selection of meat and veg, also vegetarian options, actually a gd selection vegetarian options. The choice of small, medium or large meals. Great decor. Also great selection of drinks, especially if you drink ale.
Good food but a bit too drafty by the door leading to the outside area meant we rushed to leave. Don't sit there! Couldn't move due to covid restrictions on 2m space.
Excellent service & food. Friendly staff.& super clean place without being over bearing. Would highly recommend
