Called in with stag party of 12 and had a great welcome from the locals.
The Old Royal is a good, traditional and quintessentially British pub. The drink is good, the prices are great and the staff are even better. Its only right to stop in and have a pint if you're in the city centre - you'd be wrong not to!
Very comfortable friendly city centre pub. Beer high quality. Also does a good breakfast.
Fantastic traditional pub, the staff are very helpful
Fantastic night out. Lovely staff, quick service, good price, quality ale. Couldn't ask for anymore.
A little hidden gem in a busy part of Birmingham. Cheap drinks Monday and Tuesday. Pat and his staff are friendly and welcoming. Sport on telly food reasonable and clean. U can't go wrong here....
What real ale pub runs out or beer on a Friday night? When you ask for a whiskey and orange they pour you a JD and fresh orange? Staff training or total incompetence decide for yourselves I for one won’t be back anytime soon.
Best traditional pub in Birmingham city centre. Staff are top noch. Real ale is superb.
