Quite nice, dog friendly, but not quite cosy enough for my taste.
It is not busy at all. You would like if you love drinking cask ale. There are some funny table games as well. The people that are working there are nice.
Can't quite figure out why such a lovely old pub in the Jewellery Quarter has so little to offer! Almost nothing in the fridges or on the taps when we went. Very bare feeling. Friendly staff though. Hopefully they're just going through a Covid related crisis & the pub will have a proper offering before too long.
Staff member on was great - lovely attitude and welcoming. Most decent beer was off on a saturday afternoon ! but otherwise fine.
Great old Birmingham pub good selection of lagers and gins great bar snacks loved the book case and games shelf just adds a bit of fun friendly bar staff definitely go back
The Queen's Arms...the place where, the 60's group, The Moody Blues got their start. 'Ride My See-Saw', was a big hit. Denny Laine, was once an early member, and went on to play in Paul McCartney's solo project Wings.
Perfect for a quiet week day after work drink. Only had a bottled cider but glass clean and bottle nice and cold. Quiz nights have a good reputation.
