We chose The Londesborough for our wedding, because we love everything about the pub, and they couldn’t have given us a better day! From our first enquiry, the team guided us through and made everything straightforward, stress-free and memorable for all the right reasons. Our guests loved the venue, the food and the staff, and we couldn’t have been happier. Thanks for hosting and magical day!
We had our wedding reception at the Londesborough three weeks ago and it really was the best day ever! From when we first booked a year ago, the staff were always so helpful, very responsive and reassuring. The atmosphere on the day was amazing - really relaxed and fun, which was exactly what we were looking for. All the staff were absolutely brilliant, so efficient and making sure everything ran smoothly. The food surpassed our expectations and there were SO many compliments from all our guests. Couldn't recommend the Londesborough more highly for a wedding and just an all round great pub - thanks so much for all the incredible memories. Grace and Josh x
Really nice pub, perfect for a summer's day. The service is excellent too. The food was OK, wasn't super impressed by the roast ours was a little dry etc, but it's a great place with really friendly + helpful staff and a few nice beers on offer, so I'd still recommend the place.Food: 3/5
We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at The Londesborough. Everytjing about the day there was excellent. A few particular highlights. The food was some of the best we have had at a wedding not being biased because it was our own wedding, paticular shout out to the potato gratin. The day ran so smoothly since they are so experienced in running weddings there, and having the speeches before dinner feels more natural. Perfect size for 90 people plus extra 30 in the evening, the intimate size encouraged everyone to get dancing. The feedback from so many of the guests has been outstanding and lots of people have said its one the best weddings they have attended, and thats thanks to all the staff at Londesborough. We would highly recommend this venue for both a wedding reception and just a Sunday roast.
One of the best pubs ever been too. The owners are very nice and friendly and helpful. The security is great, friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and the service is great. Thank you Guy and Solomon. Great people and very helpful. Please we recommend this pub for weddings and any special occasion you have to book yourself here. You won’t regret.
We had our wedding at the Londesborough last month, and we cannot express enough what an absolutely magical and unforgettable experience it was. From the moment we chose the Londesborough as our wedding venue, the team went above and beyond, we were amazed at the expertise, attention to detail, and unwavering dedication the team had throughout. We can honestly say the planning of the event was stress free and enjoyable, and a huge part of that credit goes to Amber and Greg! On the day itself, from the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly and attentive team who went out of their way to ensure every guest felt welcomed and comfortable. The food was outstanding, by far the best food we’ve had at a wedding and our guests are still raving about it, it’s clear that the chefs take pride in their work! The bar service was top-notch, with a wide selection of drinks ranging from beers on draft to delicious margaritas. After our meals and speeches, we had a live band followed by 3 hours of none stop dancing thanks to DJ Catfight. His music selection was spot on and kept the energy high throughout the night. Everyone from the youngest to the oldest had a blast on the dance floor thanks to him! The pub’s cozy atmosphere and beautiful garden created the perfect backdrop for an elegant, relaxed, and beautiful celebration. The day was meticulously orchestrated, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We highly recommend the Londesborough to anyone considering them for their special day. The food was delicious as always and I can 100% recommend the lamb roast on a Sunday. The waitress however wasn’t up to the normal standard, got both of my drink orders incorrect and they had to be sent back. My friend also had to check about the second round of drinks as it took a while. The atmosphere was okay, we were sat right at the toilet which was slightly colder and a couple of crying babies/small children were around. Next time would like to sit closer to the bar again as that seems to be less loud. If you’re into a good roast, I’d 100% recommend it though and the stuff who runs the front is amazing and very welcoming.
My partner and I had our wedding at the Londesborough on Friday 5th July 2024. It was the most magical place to have a wedding. Greg, Paddy and Mark were extremely helpful and upbeat - the event ran so smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing! The food and wine during the wedding meal was absolutely delicious. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a venue to host an event at.

We had our wedding reception at The Londesborough and can't really put into words what a fantastic day we had. Every interaction with the team made us feel that they really cared about us having the best day. The venue looked fabulous especially the disco balls, service relaxed but attentive, and the food fantastic - our guests are still raving about it. For anyone looking for a really fun and personal wedding in London we would wholeheartedly recommend. Thank you so much!
