An independently run free house serving real ales and ciders from small independent breweries and orchards plus the best from Belgian and German brewers. We pair all this with fantastic pub food. It is like a beer festival every night!

We serve various local ales from independent breweries such as Thornbridge and Dark Star. We are proud to serve the best from local breweries such as Brodies, Redemption, Camden Town, Meantime and The Kernel. We have a wide rane of bottled beers from Delerium Tremens to Goose Island 312. We have Mort Subite Kreik Cherry beer and probably the first Vedett Pils or Chimay Triple on tap.

Service was very fast, all staff lovely. Selection of keg beer from near and afar in excellent and a couple of cask offerings too, including a bitter. Their house wine/medium is very well priced. Really nice atmosphere, would very much recommend. They do Sunday roast very reasonably priced and have a pop up kitchen.

Considering the circumstances all brilliant. Best beer menu I've seen in a while which lived up to its promise. Great staff doing well on a tricky day. I hope this pub is still there on the other side so we can enjoy it in better times.

Excellent Stokey boozer with first class drink line up, strong on local real ales and craft beers. Beer quality is always good, and rotating kitchen takeovers are reliably good. Currently Indian flavoured Sunday Roasts and evening meals. One of the few pubs where I've never had a bad pint!

Great sunday roast at a reasonable price. Service is fast and staff is very friendly. I would definitely come back. Good and chilled atmosphere.

Most authentic home style Sunday roast have had in London. Make sure to get a spoon for the generous gravy portions!

3 stars is perhaps a bit harsh but we definitely didn’t eat a 4-star roast. Beef and chicken were both overdone and it would have been nice to have had crispy potatoes. The saving grace was well-cooked veg and tasty gravy.

Good selection of beers. Wished for more sours. Service wonderfully friendly. Space a bit open, almost cafeteria-like. Fried pineapple dessert a miss.
