The Empress

Bowled over by the quality of the Empress's Mothers Day lunch, delivered to our door. Generous quantities & all 3 courses just bursting with flavour. A wonderful treat. Luckily, had a v tasty selection of wines to go with!

The food here is amazing! Dined out middle of 2020 and still remember it now - the chips were epic. Really great food and lovely service. Will definitely be returning when it’s open again.

Staff are so friendly and attentive. They make a big effort to make your experience a positive one. The food is absolutely exceptional. Really really delicious. Don’t often leave reviews but felt compelled to because I wanted to spread the word! Can not recommend enough.

The food is lovely and the music is always spot on. Service maybe a bit chaotic but people are not robots. Full marks to the owner when he heard we had a birthday at the table for sending over drinks. Would like to see more vegan choices but I'll be back.

Good spot. Good beer. Solid hamburger. And great outdoor seating.

During lockdown I brought my first ever takeaway roast dinner. I was doubting that a takeaway roast would work, Omg best takeaway I’ve ever had. Delicious. Plus the staff were super friendly and helpful.
