I went there about three weeks ago to collect an order been placed online. But nothing found remarkable, therefore could not provide five star. I gave three star as the place looks okay and the business was clean and tidy.
Good quality food at reasonable prices, friendly knowledgeable staff and well kept ales. Decent location right on Newingron Green. Lunchtime menu and a pint of Gun Brewery Pale Ale for £11 was excellent.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere in an airy friendly local pub. Enjoyable seasonal menu that changes regularly with varied wine list by the glass and bottle. Nice service.
Very satisfying lunch rump steak oven braised potatoes with onion and olive, rocket, aioli. Rose meringue, strawberries and cream. Everything well prepared, hearty but not heavy. Tasty and we'll balanced. Good wine. All reasonably priced. A great local.
Came here to relax and had a good drink and a sit-down. bit quiet but they're all really decent sorts in there. Good for outdoors without the mobile phone crowd
Good pub. It does solidIislington pub food and has a good range of drinks. You can get decent wine there as well. It is quite cavernous and the noise levels are such that your friends can hear you talking even if you're not shouting directly into their earflaps. Which always goes a long way.
By far the best pub in the area. I eat here regularly and it never fails to disappoint. Excellent service, excellent food and a really cozy local pub. Love it.
