Story

Home to a truly bizarre collection of ornaments, there’s more to the Stapleton than meets the eye! Serving ales of the highest quality and a seasonal menu that changes daily.
Every Monday we convert our Chandelier room into a free cinema, with a different film every week, from 8pm onwards.
Every Tuesday we give you the chance to try a bit of our delightful menu, with a main & a side OR dessert from £12
Our ever popular quiz runs Thursdays from 8pm, with charity shop round, tin foil sculpting and a chance to win a £30 bar tab!
And love our Sundays as much as we do with our wholesome roast dinners & lovely bloody mary's.

Excellent Sunday roast dinner . Great value for money, with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Thoroughly appreciated the lime and soda being free of charge as well. Would definitely recommend.

You want beers? YOU GOT IT! You want something to line the stomach? YOU GOT IT! Great place for beer and food! Bit of sports to add as well! Decent pub!

Nice beers, friendly staff, plenty of lovely leather sofas dotted around. Ordered a bowl of chips for my daughter and was asked if I wanted ketchup or mayo, usual kind of thing. I asked if we could get gravy and they managed to sort something out. A class act! Good chips as well. Will be going back to check out more of the menu.

Could be great. Isn't. Food is as reliable as a match in a storm.  A spark and then joylessness.

Nice pub, good, we'll set up Covid and good food

Suits a Crouch Ender, it's warm and friendly,  good beers, wines and spirits on offer despite the Pandemic

Excellent and friendly service but really bad food.  Everything sweet including burgers. Urgh.
