Very nice stay excellent service and friendly staff. Quiet rooms with lovely restaurant and patio. Large bathroom with bath and shower. Lovely thick fluffy towels. Full English breakfast included. Room had trouser press and iron and ironing board, tea and coffee facilty, air-conditioning and electric wall heater

We went for carvery lunch, the restaurant didn't seem particularly busy. It took an age to be seen to (we had booked a table) and even longer to order. Drinks were forgotten, the child's lunch we order took well over 30 minutes to arrive when we were told no longer than 15. Everyone had finished eating by this time, we ended up sending it back. This reads like a 1 star review, but after a discussion with a lad called Tom he rescued the day for the place. He was attentive to our issues and couldn't apologise enough. The food we did eat was excellent and the pudding superb. The after service and food makes it a four star review.

beautiful atmosphere.. great food. even though it was insanely busyand we hadn't booker a table we got seated within 2 minutes and were having drinks by 10 minutes. I would highly recommend and will definitely make this one of my fav spots to eat.

Excellent food. With nice staff and surroundings. This hotel is sister to the Boars Head Hotel.
