This was a very nice surprise to find a Chinese restaurant inside what I thought was going to be a typical English pub. Having sectioned off what I can only think must have been at one time "the snug", it has now been converted into a little Chinese restaurant with four tables each capable of seating four people, making a nice area for a 16 people group to eat within the building itself and certainly more tables available should they be required. There is of course with all Chinese, a takeaway option. For my meal I had chicken fried rice with a satay chicken main dish, and some very fresh and crisp prawn crackers see photo with the addition of a nice pint from the pump. Very tasty and quick service along with a pleasant staff. A first but not last experience. Loved it
Booked in for a Chinese meal here which was a nice change from the usual takeaway. Food was delicious and plentiful. Although we were the only ones dining, the takeaway was doing a brisk trade. Had plenty of attention from the staff who were helpful and friendly which made it a good night out.
Great local pub with good atmosphere and reasonably priced. Chinese restaurant on site too what more can you ask for!
Just finished an absolutely beautiful Chinese meal at Kim Chinese The Letters Inn The atmosphere in both the pub and the cordoned off Chinese seating room was lively but not too loud and the service was excellent. The food was also amazing with plenty of both veggie and meat options and as someone who has eaten in many Chinese restaurants I was thoroughly impressed. Topped off by very reasonable prices and great portion size. Will definitely be coming back! A real hidden gem.
Lovely village pub with a very friendly atmosphere. Also has a Chinese restaurant which serves excellent food and reasonably priced too, if we lived locally we'd be regular visitors!!
Best value eat-in in the village, with a good, decent choice of food and drink, live sports, a pleasant beer garden and friendly staff, please don't go in and hog the fire in the winter!
Visited this pub twice during our short stay at Tattenhall, Cheshire. A warm welcoming pub with friendly staff and a good selection of ales. The pub has a lovely roaring fire and is very dog friendly. There is a Chinese takeaway that operates from the pub kitchen with an option to eat in. From our visits it was obvious its a popular choice and decided to get a takeaway and I have to say the food was delicious without the greasiness you often find with Chinese food. Would definitely recommend both the pub and Chinese food.
A nice and cosy pub with a lovely atmosphere. One of our favourites.
Great local pub. I can’t fault the place. Hosts are amazing, staff are superb, ales are clear and crisp, and there’s always a great friendly atmosphere. What’s not to love? ‍
Friendly local pup good beer and good food definitely worth a visit
