Went here for our evening meal! Absolutely delicious! We had 3 courses! What a meal! Enjoyed every bite! Highly recommended. The steak was perfection! And the pepper sauce was yum! Go! So so good, we went back for Sunday lunch! We had the platter for two! Oh my days! Huge! And possibly the best Sunday roast we ever had! Vegetarian options: Great veg and vegan options. Dietary restrictions: They also have gluten free options which one of our gang thoroughly enjoyed!
Chic supreme was more of a child's portion. We have been here a few times and been impressed but this meal seemed it was lacking something maybe a little more veg.. Came back for lunch today21/6/22 had the set menu of starter, main and pudding absolutely fantastic great place.. Great staff.. Will definitely come again
Very nice place to go for something to eat with the food being top class and excellent service. Would definitely recommend this place.
I visited here when working away from home. I was made to feel very welcome by Mark who is a fantastic member of the team. I had the Pulled pork spring rolls and Lamb rump both of which we amazing!
Lovely spacious grounds with a children’s playground area. They could do with some swings for the older children. At present they are only for toddlers. But the children made do with standing inside the swings. Not ideal but the rest of the equipment was good; a climbing wall, swinging ropes and balance beams, with plenty of grass to run about in. I’ve eaten here many times and the food is usually excellent. Today the fish was over cooked and oily fortunately the children weren’t too bothered, just the adults!. Everything else was lovely, as usual; delicious beef sandwiches and breaded chicken. Wait on staff were very friendly. The teepee in the garden is lovely. Even now with restrictions being raised it’s nice to have the option for outside dining. Edit: We came here recently and although the food looked delicious wasn’t as described. Sadly thick cut bread just doesn’t taste as the expected sourdough bread. Hence the loss of a star.
We hadn't been here for several years. The last time we had a roast and it was lovely I checked the menu the night before and it looked great. It didn't disappoint. The food was food was the best meal I'd eaten out for a long time. The staff were spot on, the setting was gorgeous. We want to go back and sample more of the menu, plus I want to wait until late evening, then go outside into their tipi with a fire pit. Highly recommended. I can't wait to go again
Very enjoyable experience. My wife and I chose different starters and mains, they were all good. My duo of fish perfectly cooked. Cheesecake style dessert was excellent. We were served by Lotty who was helpful, and knowledgeable she was 1st class.
Have just returned from a delicious Sunday meal. We were a large group but the food all came out at the same time, piping hot and fresh. The meat platter was amazing...enough for 3 easily. Service was excellent. Waiting staff very polite. Will definitely return
Great Christmas menu, friendly service, but the wait between main and dessert was slightly long. It was busy, so understandable, and otherwise excellent. Very nice venue too, good to have a family photo by the real Christmas tree in the conservatory area.
Excellent! We had the roast dinner platter for two, it was amazing! So much food we couldn't finish it. Really tasty, cooked to perfection! Definitely be coming back!! Thanks
