One of the best pubs in Manchester! Has a wide variety of beers and ciders to choose from, the staff are incredibly friendly, the interior is very cosy and beautiful and it also has a cute little beer garden for the sunny days as well as an upstairs floor is usually hosting some kind of event! We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back! 10/10
We came in with a fringe theatre show and it is a lovely little theatre upstairs and the pub itself has a great outside space as well as a great ambience. However, the theatre is not very well signposted and neither are the loos. The theatre is a small fringe venue so I understand that there are budget issues, but to keep up with other venues, could do with a better lighting desk. But it is a beautiful space and the technician is lovely and so willing to help!
My favourite local pub. I take everyone who visits me here. I love their local ales that are consistently changing, great to try new beers. They also have a piano, some board games and a spacious smoking areaFood: 5/5
Great traditional pub with a good range of drinks. Friendly staff & a warm atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit for a couple beers. I've not been in while the live music has been on but can imagine this would be a brilliant venue. I will be calling in again very soon.
Amazing cat....amateur tech antics. Note that this isn't anything against the hospo staff, just the guy running the footy! Been watching the euros in the city and had a great time so far and not had to pay entry. Came to King's Arms and paid entry to watch the footy for the tech guy to mess up countless times on streaming, out of sync sound, switching streaming platforms whilst watching and the nail in the coffin was he decided he had enough and turned it off straight after it finished when people hadn't finished watching and didn't give a damn about it. I'll come back for a drink and the cat but won't be back for any productions again!
Came here as Fresh Meat Channel 4 show was filmed here! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Had a few drinks very reasonably priced before going for dinner
Came across this pub when trying to find somewhere to enjoy a bit of craic on a Sat night. Was close to the hotel so figured we'd give it a go. It was busy and there was a comedy night upstairs. Everyone was very friendly and the prices were great. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because I had to go online and create an account to buy tickets to go into the comedy show even tho I was there - they had no way of taking money from us directly; and the ladies wcs were very compact and doors insecure. But we had a fab evening !!
A surprising little gem. We’ve been here a few times for events and the space upstairs is a great spot. Drinks are well priced too.Service: 5/5
Good small cozy theater for local theater projects! Went for a play here and would like to go back for more. However bar staff could be better with customer service. Felt like they didn't care about the orders and they were too busy talking to their friends. Bathrooms are horrible.
Great pub with a brilliant beer selection, live music and a friendly pub cat! Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Manchester.Food: 5/5
