Look at the wrong person a certain way you're sure to get some mouth from some characters but for the most part this is a fun pub to have a few cheap drinks in. The seats and curtains all stink of old cigarette but it adds to the charm, the other patrons are just having a laugh, it's great for people watching and snacks are dirt cheap too!

Very local pub. Not bad prices and a few gins, but there is no draught lemonade and it's best never to visit when the disco is on. You won't be able to hear yourself think.
Good pub for the locals and passers by. There isn’t many other pubs within the area and even so the Bricklayers is ideal for most. Quite a few seats, with a private function room too and also an outdoor seating / smoking area. They frequently stream live football matches and top off the price of a pint is unbeatable compared to many other pubs, although the selection of larger and beer isn’t top range, the ones they offer are quite nice.
Went in to see my lads new local and loved the place. They had the match on then come out with a buffet at 1/2 time. Full of characters like a pub should be, hats off to the manageress and the barmaid who made us feel welcome. £2.15 a pint what's not to like!!
Visited today with my husband. In Manchester for a wee visit from Glasgow. Can't recommend this pub highly enough. The landlady was so friendly and helpful. And the Trailblazer stout was a big hit with my husband!
Bricklayer's is a great pub. I love this atmosphere to the modern day pretentious vibe.Service: 4/5
