Love it! Small but perfectly formed. Old style boozer with a twist. The cute live venue attached is perfect for an intimate style gig. The bar has a good selection of drinks, staff lovely, board games available in the lounge, outside seating when the Salford weather allows. I love the vibe and the aesthetic too. It's all being built up in the surrounding area, with glass towers and apartment blocks and then this little gem in the middle. Just brilliant
Great vibes and atmosphere, especially with their back terrace. A bit tricky to order as the bar has 2 separate entrances so you don’t really know where to queue, but the staff was friendly and let us enjoy our beers even after the official closing time, would definitely go back!Service: 4/5
Another one of the thoroughly classic Holts pubs still standing and so close to Manchester city centre. Business as usual whilst the surrounding area is totally redeveloped. Great bar staff and super friendly regulars make this pub a pleasure to drink in. Regular entry in the Good Beer Guide.Service: 5/5
A hidden gem of a music venue where gigs are intimate and with great acoustics. We saw Sam Brookes and Supalung last night and were blown away by how great they were. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great beer too. What more could we want? Thanks.
The service is amazing. There is no food there except for peanuts but, for now, you can order sushi the building next to them and eat at Eagle inn. I do recommend the place.Food: 5/5
Was charged £4.80 for a Holts Bitter today, Monday afternoon. Checked with staff if that was correct and she said yes. Personally think that's on the very high end of expensive for what is a very basic bitter. Can get top quality cask in the city centre for the same price. Was surprised as normally Holts pubs are no frills, decent value. This pint is not worth more than £4 in 2023. This is not from some miser who only goes to Spoons and Cask Union places, I know the going rate for stuff like this. Shame, as I would return to what is a nice pub otherwise.
As good as they said it was going to be. Excellent boozer, well worth the walk.Service: 5/5
Excellent pub and small music venue Highly atmospheric, level access Extensive outdoor seating area to the front with a table tennis table!Atmosphere: 5/5
Eagle Inn is a lovely place. I’m not super crazy about the beer choices, but the building, the staff and the atmosphere are amazing. It’s so friendly. You’ll always stay longer than you planned and meet new people. They do great DJ nights, which always attract people who are just the best. They have their own theatre, which I’ve attended a couple of times when friends have been performing. A really good space there too.
Nice place to get a few drinks with friends. Average beer selection, good and helpful staff.Service: 4/5
