Since London is very expensive and I was traveling on a budget, I have chosen this hotel. After staying in this "3*" I stayed in 1* elsewhere which is way much better. There are only 3 good things about this hotel. Very nice stuff, good breakfast, and excellent location. First the rooms. It was old, very small, but fair. I thought it was clean, but I have four new insect bytes. Then the internet. This was way the worst internet at any place claiming they have one. I was there for work and not having good internet was terrible. The last thing is bag storage since I had a late evening flight. They said they could store it in an open public area in a lobby. It is not true that someone is always there, and for sure I don't believe they were going to check who takes what and if a random person walks from the street. So I left my luggage elsewhere.
Beautiful room with complete service. I opted for 7 nights with breakfast, it has the traditional english, fruits, toast, jams.. The Hotel is very close to Paddington station, from where to easily take almost all the lines. Thanks to Sergio and all the staff member for their generosity, hope to be back soon.
Strange hotel. Looks very posh from the street but the staff - whilst friendly and helpful - were very informal which gave the place a slight Fawlty Towers feel, but in quite a nice way. Location was fabulous and beds comfy!Rooms: 3/5
The hotel does not warrant 4*. The room was small and the bathroom tiny. The breakfast was OK. The staff were friendly. The real benefit was the location close to Paddington station and underground. Nearby activities: Hyde Park is a short walk
Definitely not 4 stars - it’s a 2 star hotel - don’t know how they got rated this. Booked and paid 4 nights and can’t wait to leave - bed bugs is true!!! Filthy bed sheets with blood stains - requested change of towels and don’t happened I had to request probably 4 times - I had to do it because we are three people and there is no place to hang them apart of 1 hook. Many things are pretty bad but I wouldn’t be able to finish the list. Def not recommended. Rooms: Small outdated and bedbugs
My husband and I recently stayed at Hyde Park Radnor Hotel booked through our travel agent. We were shown pictures of a nice hotel with, with amenities, and great location near Paddington Station. Unfortunately the pictures on the Hotels website are false!! This a very outdated hotel with no amenities. Our room was very small with a hole in closet door, no heat in room leaving us freezing every night. Most days we felt like we were a bother to staff during our 7 day stay. As you can imagine this was a very expensive stay. We did enjoy the breakfast and location, unfortunately I was disappointed considering this was my first trip abroad.
Small room and small walkway if you are over 200 lbs don't stay in this place. The walkway or corridor is so small and there are so many doors open to different walkway immediately after you walk in. No AC. This is deadly if you stay in London. I felt no circulation already during the day time temperature near 72 F. Nearby activities: Close by markets. Restaurants. Buses. Shops. Walkability: 5 minutes to Paddington station
The staff were incredible, I truly appreciated their hospitality and kindness. The location was great, and the breakfast was wonderful!Rooms: 4/5
Stayed here for a few days and it was great! Joseph and the rest of the staff were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. They helped us find tours, set us up with taxi for the airport in the morning, watched our bags for us and made sure we were enjoying our time there. If I could give the staff a 10, I totally would. The rooms were small but comfortable, and the location was perfect. Walking distance to pubs, cafes and tons of shopping. I would definitely go back to this Hotel! Nearby activities: Everything is very close, Pubs, Cafes, Shopping & Paddington Station Safety: The staff made sure we were safe the whole time, they also require your room key for front door hotel entrance. Walkability: No need for a car, everything is so close you can just walk everywhere.
Whilst my husband has returned to this hotel 5 times, this has been my first visit and I can see why he continues to return here when he travels to London. The people here are wonderful! They're so lovely and accommodating. They provide the best service I've seen in all of Europe. Their English breakfast is the best I've had! Their rooms are pretty decent and a bit of fun to get to through their many hallways. We cannot thank the staff enough for their hospitality. We also find they are located in a fairly good spot with Paddington station just a 5 min walk away, and plenty of stores, restaurants and public transport nearby. 100% recommend this hotel.
