An excellent place to go for people of all ages. We had two children under 5 with us and they both enjoyed the visit. The cave tours are long enough to count as an experience and short enough to not become boring. The cable car ride is pretty high up and will get you twitching if you are not great with heights, but it's over in 5 or so minutes so don't panic! I found our experience at the Heights of Abraham to be a very well rounded day out, excellent views, varied attractions, cafe and bar, gift shop, ice cream, 2 play parks for the kids, what more could you want?

This is a lovely day out with/without children. Really well done, not overcrowded. The views are stunning but there are a lot of different things to do up there. Food was decent in cafe and with nice terraces to sit out or take a picnic. The play areas are really well done and the tours of caverns really interesting (didn't expect it to be). We have a 7, 10 and 12 year old and they are a tough crowd to please but they absolutely loved it.

Cracking day out. The caverns are amazing and the guides very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. All the staff were hugely friendly and accommodating. We went in the snow but was still an amazing day. Would thoroughly recommend to any person.

Hugely impressed, from the enthusiasm of our cavern guide Josh, to the fantastic food and service at the Vista restaurant (so much better than the average tourist attraction cafe). All the staff were attentive and engaged with visitors. Very well maintained grounds, nothing scruffy or broken. Great outdoor play areas and Punch & Judy was a lovely bonus. Efficiently managed queue to get back down in the cable car, when everyone else was leaving. Thank-you for a wonderful family day out. You are doing Derbyshire proud.

I have been here a few times now and have always enjoyed my visit. My children enjoy the ride up in the cable car which gives great views of the surrounding area. The tours of the caves a very interesting and cooling on a hot day and the play areas are great for the kids.
