Parked in the overspill car park, back wall, blocking no one or anything, got a parking ticket for obstruction!! 
As did around 25 other vehicles including a broken down land rover who was waiting for a recovery vehicle.....

Great car park with loads of spaces however ;
1.Spaces are designed for 1960s cars (i.e. a bit tight)
2.The machines can take cards - but on our visit - none of the machines took cards
3.Only one machine was working at all (coins only)
4.The machines don't give change
So having pitched up, then scurried off to the town to beg some change, the cost is £6 for the day .....

In my books - that's steep prices for a car park in a rural location

Good sized car park with a handful of disabled spaces. Pay and display machine only accepts coins, but doesn't yet work with the new £1 coin.

Large carpark for about 300 cars, that can be used for The Midland pub, The Heights of Abraham and for visiting Matlock Bath. It is nicely laid out in bays with trees inbetween. During the summer it is usually full nearly all the time. Adults be aware of children when crossing the railway line up to the entrance of the Heights of Abraham as the railway line is regularly used

Decent sized car park close to main street and cable cars. 2 out of 3 parking meters have been broken got a few weeks now. Could do with getting them sorted.
