Really superb. Well-priced, looks excellent inside and great gluten-free selection (even fishcakes). Feels much more like a restaurant than your regular chippy. The portions were just right and staff were extremely helpful. Definitely the best fish & chips in Matlock Bath by far. My only complaint is having to pay for ketchup, but they're larger sachets, so it's not too bad!

Cozy atmosphere when not crowded. Interior is with a twist of 80's vintage. Food is good, however mushy peas are a bit too salty. Staff is pleasant and proactively helpful.

We went in the shop on Sunday 22nd, we were served by a lovely person ‘charlie’ Very helpful and friendly....the gluten free options were great 👍🏼

Only place we go to in Matlock Bath. We love Tuckers! Always friendly staff, wonderful food, and great atmosphere.

Tucker's does beautiful gluten free fish n chips for Coeliacs! Their batter is crisp and light, the fish moist and fresh. Their chips are soft and fluffy inside and crisp outside. Everything is piping hot. We've been here 10 times on different days of the week, and each time was as good as the last, proving they are consistent. The staff are friendly and wait times are not long at all. Everything is freshly cooked and it's delicious! The oil must be very fresh, because we never feel afterwards as if we've eaten fried food. A real gem
