Beautiful picturesque Matlock! Not far from Nottingham and Derby. Glorious drive in summer with the countryside in full summer bloom. Verdant and Bucolic, so many different species of trees to point out to your children which will assist them in their education.nnMatlock can be very busy in the summer, so you need to be careful. Parking could be difficult to secure.
Nice and quiet train station. Not many trains pass through but very nice small train station for a beauitful town with lots of fun adventures to take part in for all ages. Dotted around the only platform are cute paintings of things surrounding Matlock which I think is a nice touch to a train station which not many stations have. Matlock train station has a fairly large car park and surrounding areas is beauitful to look at while waiting your onwards journey.
A great hiking train station ideally situated in the Derwent valley. This stop is at the end of a branch line with Matlock the end of the line. However Tourist and hiking trails are all accessible from this stop which is reasonably served by regular trains.
Small and nice train station to start your journey to the highest Abraham. The place there is really amazing, beautiful views to the hills, castle and other places you see there!nMoreover there are two caves, Masson Cavern and Rutland Cavern, these caves are really awesome and it’s top attractions in the Peak District!
