Height of Abraham cafe needs in Matlock and you to take the cable car to your destination. It is the place for people who aren't scared of heights. It is great for bringing your kids around. In the same local area it has a puppy show for kids who enjoy.
Upstairs is the restaurant and the lower floor is the cafe both with fantastic views over matlock bath, menus were reasonable and the food was good with a good selection for the venue type. We enjoyed a nice meal and it didn't break the bank I took photos of the menus for the kids to choose what they wanted so have uploaded them on here.
Need a few hours to make experience worth entrance. Very Covid safe. Masks in cable cars and indoor areas. Fantastic views. Children's play area, picnic sites, restaurant, hilly walks/caves. Need good foot ware.
Two caves and two play areas. Nice view on the top of the hillcave. One thing not so good is the car park is far too busy! And you have to be very careful about the parking rule at the Matlock Bath station car park.
Super place! Grandkids 7 and 4 had a great time, loved the cablecars and playgrounds. Staff were very friendly and everything clean, perfect for our 1st post lockdown day out 10 out of 10!!
Views are incredible and there is so much to do when you get to the top. Highly recommended
Brilliant day out! We love the caves, scenery, cable cars and the parks. Take a picnic and enjoy your day. Some parts are difficult if you have mobility issues but you dont have to do those areas. The central areas are all wheelchair friendly so fun for all the family. Pushchairs cant be taken into the caves but the rest is fine for pushchairs just a bit hilly!
Well maintained and follows COVID-19 rules. Good customer service. Food is good.
Staff were friendly and efficient. We had sandwiches that we felt were a little overpriced and the bread and coffee quality could be improved.
Ordered a beef goulash which was fantastic. It has great views of the Derbyshire countryside and you can sit outside with your dog if you like.
